Forest Bathing with the Coven β€” A Monthly Gathering to Remember

Forest Bathing with the Coven β€” A Monthly Gathering to Remember

There is something ancient and sacred about stepping into the woods together β€” leaving the noise of the everyday world behind and simply being in the presence of the trees, the earth, and each other. This month, the Three Sisters Coven gathered for one of our most soul-nourishing experiences yet: a forest bathing ceremony at Tallest Tree, guided by the incredibly gifted Lori Glaser Jester.

Returning to Gaia

Forest bathing β€” or Shinrin-yoku as it is known in Japanese tradition β€” is not a hike. It is not a workout. It is an intentional, meditative immersion into the natural world, an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and allow the forest to do what it has always done: heal. And on this particular spring afternoon, surrounded by towering trees and dappled golden light, that is exactly what happened.

Our coven gathered with open hearts and willing spirits, ready to reconnect β€” with nature, with ourselves, and with one another. What unfolded was nothing short of magical.

Lori Glaser Jester: A Guide Like No Other

If you have never experienced a forest bathing session led by Lori, let us simply say β€” you are missing something truly special.

From the very first moment, Lori created a container of safety, warmth, and deep presence. Her energy is calm without being distant, nurturing without being overbearing. She has a rare gift: the ability to hold space for a group of women in a way that feels both grounding and expansive β€” as if the forest itself trusts her to lead within it.

Throughout our time together, Lori guided us through gentle sensory invitations, encouraging us to notice the texture of bark beneath our fingertips, the sound of wind moving through the canopy, the way the earth smelled of rain and roots and something older than memory. She never rushed. She never pushed. She simply invited β€” and in that invitation, each of us found our own way deeper into the experience.

She checked in with every member of the coven, making sure we felt safe, cared for, and fully present. In a world that so often demands we perform our wellness, Lori offered something different: permission to simply receive it.

Coven, Community & Connection

What made this gathering even more meaningful was the intimacy it created between us. There is something about being in nature together β€” without screens, without agendas, without the armor we wear in daily life β€” that strips things down to what matters most. We laughed. We wandered. We sat in silence side by side and felt the kind of closeness that words rarely build but shared experience always does.

Getting to know each other more deeply, feeling the threads of our coven strengthen and weave together β€” that is the heart of what Three Sisters Co. is all about. We are not just a shop. We are a community. A sisterhood. A coven rooted in intention, magic, and the belief that we are always better together.
